One subject per reference
A single visible subject helps the model distinguish the two performers. Crop out unrelated people and avoid covering the face or the pet's distinctive features.
Make the outfit visible
Use a reference with the clothing and body details you want to preserve. Good light and a simple background help communicate those details. Results vary between generations.
Upload clear portraits
The website uses Seedance 2.5 through KIE and accepts ordinary portrait uploads. Small photos are resized in your browser without AI reconstruction; clear originals preserve more useful detail. The provider reviews all reference images and videos, so some inputs may still be rejected.

Try a different reference if needed
Review both subjects before submitting. If the service cannot use a reference, check its format and authorization. Failed jobs return their application credits, and remain visible in your library.
